The Vermont 100 Endurance Race is held in the rolling countryside around Killington, Vermont. The course uses dirt roads, forest tracks and farm lanes between pastures and woodlots, with a long series of short climbs rather than sustained ascents. New England summer humidity is the main weather factor.
m. It is the only American 100-miler that hosts a simultaneous equestrian race on the same terrain. Proceeds go to Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sport.
