A plan built from your answers and your race date.

The Broken Arrow Skyrace is run in Olympic Valley, on the Palisades Tahoe terrain in California's Sierra Nevada. The ground is high-mountain: steep pitches, exposed ridgelines, lingering snowfields early in the season and sections where hands come into play. Altitude is a factor in its own right for anyone arriving from sea level.

Five formats are offered: 46K, 23K, 18K, 11K and an Ascent race, a pure uphill event.

When to start

At this distance, a build usually runs 12 to 24 weeks. The 2027 date is not published, so counting back from December puts the start around June 28, 2027.

These ranges are working conventions, not a research finding — no trial has compared plan lengths against each other. What matters more is that the plan was built for the weeks you actually have, rather than shrunk down from a longer one.
