The Centurion South Downs Way 50 covers the eastern half of the South Downs Way in Sussex, from Worthing to Eastbourne. The going is southern English chalk: wide tracks, open ridges looking out over the Channel, cropped grassland and fast descents. Technical sections are rare, but the profile never gives you a long flat stretch.
Being point to point, it also means arranging travel back from the finish at Eastbourne.
