The Saskatchewan Marathon is run in Saskatoon, the largest city in Saskatchewan, in the middle of the Canadian prairies. The course is paved and urban, built largely around the riverbank paths and streets that follow the South Saskatchewan River through town. Elevation change is minimal and the landscape is wide open.
The race is the province's reference marathon. At this stage the official site lists the marathon only; if shorter distances are added, they will appear on the registration page, so check it before planning a group trip around the weekend.
